Eye Candy for 2012

Posted by Kristin

Quick announcement: The lucky winner whose name was drawn from a hat for our Dean's Beans giveaway is (drum roll)...CAROLYN (crowd cheering)!!! Congratulations Carolyn and thank you for your comment about how you celebrated New Years Eve: "dance party with good friends, five little rockers (all under three), handmade play silks (care of auntie nicole) and crazy hats. followed by a game of settlers and wine. beautiful night." It does sound like a beautiful night, and speaking of which you can check out highlights of PEC's New Years Eve here.

Happy 2012 PEC fans! Since early January is all about making resolutions, I made a resolution to shove my face full of tantalizing PEC-related photos until I was full. This post is just a start.

I hope I'm not alone in this fact but I must admit that design ideas and photos of inspiration have a way of making my heart beat fast. Kind of like watching an Edward and Bella encounter (Twilight fans- holla!).  Such was the case while recently scouring some new blogs I've officially fallen in l-o-v-e with.

Check out a lovely lady who calls herself "The Nester" and who believes that "It doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful". I can totally appreciate that. The Nester

Just one of the awesome rooms that The Nester has done.

And then I found my kindred (albeit Canadian) spirit. I read Karen's bio here and burst out laughing because I felt like I was reading my autobiography. I've never been able to put into words quite how my mind works but this chick has got it down. So if you want to get to know me better and discover an awesome new site check out: The Art of Doing Stuff

Man, not only do I like her style but I kinda want her triceps too!

And finally here's a smorgasbord of fun pictures and ideas that I'm digging for 2012. By the way-'smorgasbord' is totally not spelled how I thought it would be. Thank you dictionary.com
