Eating

EAT LIKE A COW AND LOOK LIKE A BIRD

George Bernard Shaw said “there is no sincerer love than the love of food”. We wholeheartedly agree and want to feed our love of food with every bite. To eat well is to nourish our bodies and souls. We value eating local and fresh food with pronounceable ingredients. Food should not be an afterthought but a regular part of our thoughts every day.

FEASTING WITH FRIENDS

A great partner to a healthy meal is a beautiful table surrounded by family and friends (and a nice grilled steak doesn’t hurt either). Food connects kids, spouses, friends and neighbors. Food creates community. Food is a common ground.

WOULD YOU LIKE A SIDE OF PLASTIC WITH THAT?

Along with bringing healthy food into our kitchens, we also like to consider what other items may be lining our cupboards. Everyday life involves a lot of plastic and harmful toxins. Food is not made of plastic, so why would we eat it? We are all about finding new solutions in the kitchen and using items like these and these and this (but we are guilty of sometimes using these and this …and yes, you will find a bottle of Drain-O under each of our sinks because when “you’ve got clogs, we’ve got solutions”).
